Thank you for helping! |

Without the help, and inspiration of these people and organizations, Demining Cambodia would have been a dream and could not have be started. To my dear father, William O Christ (1922-1997), Dad taught me a lot, provided a lot and loved his family even more. Dad taught me how to shoot, hunt, fish, drive, operate tractors, farm and weld… and the correct way to use a shovel, ax, and hook up a chain properly! Mostly my father encouraged my inventive spirit because he was also a prolific inventor! To my dear mother, Patricia Christ, who has been and will always be a living example of love, grace, patience, generosity, service and a faithful volunteer in so many ways. Over 13 gallons of blood donated to the community...need I say more? To Ted and Sou Olbrich, my former pastors of New Life Christian Center, Woodstock, IL. Now serving as Foursquare missions directors to Cambodia. Their walk of faith and service to God and man is remarkable, an example to us all. True shepards and apostles. To the Reverend, Carol Cory and her late husband, Pastor Jack of Cary, IL. A very short time was shared between Jack and I before he cruised to paradise, yet his passion for helping a worthy cause was outstanding. When Jack heard that I wanted to help the orphans in Cambodia, he called me from his deathbed and offered everything he could muster, and then got others to help. I am unable to properly relate how much this families selfless concern has enriched me and the children of Cambodia, except to say I am deeply humbled. Carol is another angel that has shown such caring support. To hydraulic Services of Spring Grove, IL. Mark, the owner was extremely helpful in overseeing the completion of the demining machine. When I contacted Mark and explained what I was trying to accomplish, he invited me to get the prototype ready for testing. Without Hydraulic Services donation of shop time, expert labor and parts, I could not have successfully run tests, in fact the machine held up with the anti-tank mine test. To the crew at Hydraulic Services “Terrific Job!” The people of Cambodia thank you as well! To Sem Sovantha and Ak Ira, the two Cambodians who inspire so many to help the poor. To all my Friends and churches who pray for and sponsor this mission, I would not be here without you. God Bless you all!! Especially Edgar & Holly Bailey, Dave Martin and the folks at “The Well” And of course, all the reporters, photographers, editors, and newspapers that promote this mission with terrific journalism & photography. |
