Meet the Crew |

DemineCambodia consists of individual sponsors, small businesses, and a Cambodian NGO, Angkor Association for the Disabled. |
|
American Gary Christ of Crystal Lake, Illinois has been serving the orphans and disabled of Cambodia since his first trip there in February 2001. Installing septic systems at orphanages was his primary duty until 2004, when a landmine was discovered where he was about to dig. This dramatically changed his focus and has been building demining machine prototypes ever since. |
|
Cambodian Sem Sovantha is the founder and director of Angkor Association for the Disabled, a Cambodian NGO. His mission is to provide long term help to fellow disabled people. He has been very successful in leading dozens of disabled beggars to self sufficiency through housing, skill training and employment. Mr. Sovantha was recently honored by the King of Cambodia for his outstanding service to the poor. |

-------------------------------------------------------------- The crew at Hydraulic Services in Spring Grove, Illinois has contributed hundreds of hours to fabricate two prototypes. Without Mark Rhoderick and the guys at HS, there would be no DemineCambodia. --------------------------------------------------------------- Mobile Lift of Harvard Illinois contributed much needed components (engine, wheels, hydraulic pump), to finish the second prototype. Thanks to Eric and Dave Hammarstedt. |
